Odd as this may sound, I always leave something in the bathroom to read. Strange? I've even moved a small stand/table to facilitate my love of reading. LOL. I mean, isn't this a great way to multi-task? ;)
Anyhow, I'm currently reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad, which has been eye-opening for sure. The age-old parental advice of "study hard and work hard so you can be financially stable" is being challenged and/or modified by what I'm reading. Of course, the study hard and work hard ethic still applies, but I'm realizing that whereas I've spent the better part of my life developing my "Intellectual IQ," I've sadly neglected my "Financial IQ."
I'll jot down some of my thoughts from this book once I'm done, but it won't be for a while with all my grading and finals. In the meanwhile, I'm slowly working on my financial IQ during my bathroom breaks. LOL.
By the way, since I'm using my website www.koreandramareviews.com as a forum for my stories when I do actually write something creative, I thought I'd convert this blog into a site for what I'm currently reading. I hope those of you who find and read this blog will leave me suggestions for future readings.
